Cass Community United Methodist Church
Cass Community Social Services is a Detroit-based agency dedicated to providing food, housing, health services, and job programs. Cass prepares and serves one million meals a year. Housing includes a Warming Center, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, and Permanent Supported Housing. Cass began creating jobs for people with significant barriers to employment in 2007. The agency created Green Industries which produces Mud Mats, "Detroit Treads", Coasters, and has a document distruction business.
