Aasha Foundation

The Aasha Foundation provides comprehensive social, recreational and educational enrichment support for 36 girls and young women from a shelter home in Mumbai, India. Our programs integrate our students with broader Mumbai society and provide the girls with the same kinds of experiences as their middle-class peers. Thanks to our work, our students speak English, enjoy a range of extra-curricular activities and hobbies, are college bound and on their way to pursuing successful professional careers.
