Formed in 2008, Animal Care and Assistance Fund (ACAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists qualifying family-owned pets in the greater Pittsburgh region who need emergency or specialty care at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty Emergency Center (PVSEC). Our objective is to offer pet owners, in financial crisis, an alternative to euthanasia when their pet faces a treatable, yet life-threatening condition.
