AWARE provides funds for:
-Spay and neuter programs, which help reduce the pet overpopulation in our service area of Chowan, Gates, and Perquimans counties, NC,
-Rescue and medical assistance programs, which help pay transport and medical costs for adoptable animals transferred from Tri-County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center,
-the Shelter Enrichment Fund, which will help build additions to the Tri-County Shelter to create improved housing for the animals and functional workspace for the employees.
