Basura Cero Puerto Rico (Zero Waste Puerto Rico) is a non-profit 501c3 organization that aims to transform solid waste management strategies through education and action by academia, industry, community and government for the benefit of health public and the conservation of natural resources. Basura Cero Puerto Rico seeks to promote and motivate Puerto Rican society to direct its efforts toward the goal of zero waste. In order to turn Puerto Rico into a zero waste island.
