Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to the conservation of raptors. We achieve this through: informal education programs on our 3/4-mile Raptor Trail, home to 35 species of birds from around the world; formal STEM education programs that reach more than 25,000 K-12 students in NC and SC; rehabilitation of more than 900 injured/orphaned birds each year in Jim Arthur Raptor Hospital. We a worldwide leader in conservation and maintain the largest raptor hospital in the US by patients treated.
