German Shepherd Rescue Indy
After volunteering at a local kill shelter for over six years, I found an overwhelming need to save German Shepherd Dogs from needless death. Founded in 2011, the rescue has saved over six hundred dogs. The rescue saves ALL GSDs regardless of age, health, or reasonable behavioral concerns. The rescue is also a sanctuary where twelve dogs (including four feral) call their permanent homes. The rescue houses over forty dogs who all enjoy window views and large open outdoor runs.
