Humane Society of Elmore County
The Humane Society of Elmore County is a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization that has been operational for over twenty years at the same location. Our shelter is an Open Admission shelter taking in 4700 domestic animals from Elmore County citizens and from the various Animal Control Officers (ACO) from throughout Elmore County. We work every day to provide a safe and humane environment for the 250-300 animals in our care and also to find responsible and loving homes for as many as possible.
