Fund research and help families dealing with Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD). This is a rare Autism spectrum disorder, about 20 children in a city of 1 million will be diagnosed with CDD. In CDD, the child develops normally for the first few years, then sometimes quite suddenly, disintegrates--losing previously acquired skills like potty training and the ability to speak. CDD is a devastating disorder and families dealing with CDD are an underserved community-this is the reason CDDR was founded.
