Korean Methodist Church and Institute
Korean Methodist Church and Institute in New York was established in 1921 by Koreans who longed and fought for Korean Independence. It is located near Columbia University where it has been a comforting ground for many Korean students and immigrants and generated numerous Korean leaders. As the congregation outgrew, construction of a new building on the same site had been proposed for many years. Finally, the construction began in 2015 and is expected to complete in 2019.
