Lynchburg Daily Bread

We provide a free, hot and nutritious lunch every day of the year in downtown Lynchburg. Nearly all of our food is donated by local grocery stores, colleges and restaurants. 10-15 volunteers each day cook and serve lunch in a friendly and nurturing environment. We serve our guests "restaurant style," and average 160 guests per day (although the range is 100 to 275 guests on any given day!) We are raising funds to add additional meal sites in the counties and outlying areas of Lynchburg.
