Because of strict guidelines, stores discard food even though it is nutritious and completely safe to eat. We seek to collect food from restaurants, caterers, cafeterias, grocery and farm stores. These business throw out unpurchased food because it is less costly than handling and shipping it for donation. We reduce this waste by handling and delivering to pantries.
