St. Joseph's 's Carmelite Home is a certified residential treatment center, where the social, moral, educational, and physical needs of children from the age of infant to eighteen years who have experienced abuse or neglect, are given the supportive environment they need for healthy development.. Since giving refuge to one frightened child nearly 105 years ago, the Carmelite Sisters have, literally, opened their hearts and homes to thousands of children in crisis.
