Founded in 1897, Children's Mercy is a nonprofit whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of children by providing comprehensive family-centered health care, committing to the highest level of clinical and psycho-social care, and exhibiting research, educational and service excellence. With the help of philanthropic support, we are making critical research discoveries and providing medical care to every child who passes through its doors, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
