The Utah County Sheriff Search and Rescue team is made up of 60 volunteers. Utah County's 2,144 square miles of towering mountains and cliffs, winding trails, rushing rivers, wide lakes, and deep caves make it a paradise for hundreds of thousands of visitors. That paradise can be unforgiving when accidents happen, people lose their way, or people get trapped by treacherous terrain or weather. That's when our skilled team of volunteers is willing to drop everything and respond to help.
