YES provides leadership development and supportive experiences in nature for those historically excluded from the outdoors, and is a leader in the movement to increase equity and inclusivity in the outdoor and environmental education fields. Our vision is for Richmond youth, adults, and families to lead healthy, connected lives; motivate change in their neighborhoods; and inspire a safe, thriving community.
