Placer SPCA

The Placer SPCA is a private nonprofit, and does not receive funding from the ASPCA or HSUS. Since 1973, we have been working to ensure the humane treatment of animals in Placer County. We house as many as 4,000 animals each year in three locations across Placer County. Our core services include pet adoption, treatment for sick or injured animals, vaccinations, affordable spay/neuters, pet lost and found, humane education for youth, collaborative rescue efforts, foster care, behavior training, and more.
