Second Servings is building a healthier community by providing underserved populations with convenient, cost-free access to nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste. Partnering with over 400 food businesses and 150 nonprofit organizations, we help nourish 250,000 struggling Houstonians annually. Our innovative “PopUp Grocery Store” program provides high quality surplus perishable groceries from Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods Market, and others to a diversity of Houstonians 7 days a week.
