Central Georgia Genealogical Society, Inc. (CGGS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that focuses on collecting, preserving, and disseminating information of historical and genealogical value in twenty-seven contiguous counties in central Georgia. Since its founding in 1978, CGGS has held monthly educational meetings and published over 45 books plus newsletters, quarterlies and journals.
