Equine Advocates, Inc.

Equine Advocates is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the rescue and protection of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Founded in 1996, we have helped save countless equines from slaughter, abuse and neglect. We focus our work on rescue, education & advocacy. In 2004, we opened our 140-acre horse sanctuary & humane education center located in Chatham, NY, home to 80+ rescued equines. We are proud to be regarded as one of the best horse sanctuaries in the nation.
