Friends of the Lubbock Public Library

Friends of the Lubbock (TX) Library (FOL) support the city/county library system in its mission to local residents. The FOL manages gifts and grants received for the benefit of the library. Our primary activity is processing books and other items donated by the public reselling them to raise funds to cover budgetary shortfalls from the city/county. We function with the generous help of over 150 volunteers giving >25,000 hours a year. None of the board or officers are compensated.
