Seattle Genealogical Society

SGS is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. We have no paid employees. We operate and maintain a computer-equipped 17,000-item library open five days a week to the public for exploring family and local history. We offer classes, lectures, workshops and seminars, and compile and publish research materials. In addition to a book collection from all over the US and the world, SGS offers a variety of research services and unique databases for Seattle and King County.
