The SynGAP Research Fund was incorporated in 2018 in California to improve the quality of life of SynGAP1 patients through the research and development of treatments, therapies and support systems. Our patients suffer from a combination of epilepsy, autism, intellectual disability, sleep issues, low tone & challenging behaviors. This is all because of one typo in their DNA affecting a level of key neuro protein. Our mantra is Collaboration - Transparency - Urgency
