The Tourette Association of Texas works to improve lives of Texans with Tourette syndrome (TS) & their families through support groups; educational & in-service programs; practical assistance; tuition free children's camping event; family outings & more. TS is a chronic neurobehavioral movement disorder causing uncontrollable motor movements & vocalizations; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder & other issues are common. Up to 3 per cent of the population may have TS.
