Direct Relief improves the health and lives of people affected by poverty and emergency situations by equipping healthcare facilities in resource-poor areas with medicines and supplies. Direct Relief provides support in 100+ countries and all 50 U.S. states, both on an ongoing basis and during emergencies, including the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, it is responding to the COVID crisis in India and Brazil, as well as to the Caribbean volcanic eruptions.

In over 70 countries around the world, Doctors Without Borders saves lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most - armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, and other crises. Our teams are responding to COVID-19 by caring for patients, offering health education, mental health support, and infection control training in health facilities around the world. We are working with local authorities in many of the countries where we have medical projects to help prepare for the impact of COVID-19.
