The NCSA Deaf Children's Literacy Project is dedicated to improving literacy for deaf children. Typically deaf children have low literacy rates because they don't hear the nuances of spoken language. With Cued Language, their literacy increases to grade level and above and they have better communication in the home, feel a part of their family and increase their socialization skills.
