Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals
Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals has operated as an animal rescue since 2000. In April 2015 Sweetpea purchased its first property. In November 2015 its primary kennel was destroyed by an electrical fire. We have made significant progress building a new, modern shelter while overcoming delays caused by legal and insurance holdups after the fire, regulatory changes, and the pandemic.
