Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals
Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals has operated as a 501(c)3 animal rescue since 2001. In April 2015 Sweetpea purchased its first property. In November 2015 our primary kennel was destroyed by an electrical fire. We have made significant progress building a new, modern shelter while overcoming delays caused by an extended insurance process after the fire, design revisions due to regulatory changes, and the pandemic.
